basically. the outsiders pov was that ranon used aina and manipulated her into helping him forever by only using 2 wishes. however the manhwa takes advantage of the fact rhat they never told it from ranon or ainas pov so they stated that ranon actually only loved aina. now for the most recent chapter, essentially aina wanted ranon to suffer because he felt no remorse for what he had done and also his children became the same way. so instead of letting him free her from the curse she poisoned(most likely since she is saying she did this on purpose) herself to make him suffer. and the witch hunt thing was because he was originally gunna do his third wish and /then/ make spells and witches and powers etc banned from his country. im pretty sure the people wanting her dead is because of the famine and cruel things that happen so people are blaming her(not 100% about this part…). yeah sk essentially aina made this curse upon ranon until someone who genuinely feel remorse about the curse and their family dying snd doesnt only care about power will come and break the curse(she didnt say how? just someone of the royal lineage)
also i do not know who the knight is!!! it really tried looking back and seeing who it could potentially be. im really not sure (￣∇￣")…yeah but my guess from the flashback thing is he was either ainas guard or he is someone who had known aina from before…or he is one of the gods that they had shown wayyy before when aina first told rozentine about her story
