If the main characters were the second couple, this would've been your typical predictable omegaverse plot—BUT NOP! IT WASN'T!!
I'm so happy this was an actual beta x alpha story because usually they would suddenly turn into an omega just from the alpha's pheromones. And Director Lee is such a green flag!! I loved his patience to wait for Joohyuk, and the fact Joohyuk doesn't back down so easily. (We love a power uke (☆▽☆))
It's so sad there could have been a potential story between him and Gido. Usually, when they meet through college and develop feelings, those emotions usually deepen and they would be stronger the more you spend time with that person. But it didn't happen to them! Surprisingly. I didn't expect for them to actually lose feelings and manage to stay friends in the end. (Pretty sure Gido still had lingering feelings thoooo). I mean, the more you look at them, they look like such a good couple!
As for the second couple, pretty sure at the end they loved each other but divorcing was definitely a good decision. I'm pretty sure if the story continued, Hyeonjae would probably give him another chance and they'd get married once again but who knows (I hope they don't).
