I feel that the author did the whole tie thing because we either all anticipated the loss or wanted him to lose. This is her way to throw us off or do the unexpected.
As far as Jaekyung goes, I don’t care how he feels at all or whether or not he can think back when Dan tried to talk to him about that cheater coach. There are so many gaps from Jaekyung possibly sleeping with someone else because how else did he dare to fight without fucking someone. He specifically stated this to Dan the first night they slept together.
Also, Potato not saying anything regardless of his chain of command. It never stopped him to bitch about other things.
What more does it need to happen for Dan to move out and live his life? Does he need to walk in on Jaekyung and another guy to finally think it’s time to move?
Many theories are about Jaekyung needing to win so that Dan won’t feel the wrath of people, but he will regardless.
For one, Jaekyung, if he wins, he will discard Dan because his win was a difficult one and also he didn’t sleep with Dan so his “jinx” is out the window. Yes, you may assume that they “already slept” but how? They’ve been fucken weird since the whole present thing. Wouldn’t it have been an important scene to see the difference of post present behavior? And at this point it’s not the same and one thing Jaekyung and the ex talked about is how it’s easy for Jaekyung to get rid of what doesn’t work anymore.
Two. If he loses, sure Dan is out anyway.
I feel that Mingwa is focusing more on Jaekyung’s beginnings to his background while pounding on Dan to show “a wake up” moment for Dan
Is it just me or is it really boring now? I feel the hype dying and losing interest in it. The little hint of this new fighter knowing Jeakyung isn’t enough for me to get exciting about this story.
I totally agree. The humanity of this character is being destroyed to a point that the redemption arc may even have a weak start enough to develop that forgiveness from Dan. I will be very impressed if she can pull it off. Having a sob story for Jaekyung will be too predictable and not enough to excuse him.
Same. Jaekyung it’s actually my favorite character since the first chapter but in terms of plot this thing is diving south to hell because the point of growth is now being left to focus on what it could be Jaekyung’s backstory. Maybe because I see things as black and white and don’t believe in the gray area that I’m having difficulty understanding the point of interwinding Dan’s “coming-out-of-denial” to Jaekyung’s backstory.
For sure! I thought he was hilarious at the beginning of the story, now I’m rolling my eyes when he’s on screen bc takes every damn thing way too serious to the point where the Jaekyung from the first 20 chapters feels like a completely different character to the Jaekyung we have now, and I’m not a fan.
I also relate in not understanding! I’ve thought of how the story could play out from this point and honestly, there’s nothing smooth about it, in fact anything the author does with the continuing the plot, it will make the whole manhwa pointless, plus I don’t even consider it to be a “ BL” anymore.
I also feel like if this is supposed to be a manhwa for adults, using a cheap trick like a bad backstory is kinda hilarious considering the audience.

I wouldn’t mind dating someone 15 years older than me. I think what freaks me out is the fact that Mika used to be his caretaker. But they both legal age lol
I once dated someone who was 15 years older than me. Honestly, it was boring.
Really? I would like to find out
