I kinda liked how this ended cause it would be torturous to see him go through so much to get her to love him. I like to think that she gets her memory back or he showers her with so much love that she has no choice but to love him.
And there are some chapters left and I just hope its fluff.
Spoiler (from the novel): more detail about the ending
According to the novel, when the duke finds her, her memories do eventually come back: though it's a gradual process and once she got her memories back and remembered how they were killed in the past, she started bawling her eyes out in the duke's arms.
At first the duke was actually worried that the first thing she'd remember was how he attempted to kill her in their first meeting, but it didn't matter since they finally had each other.
Yes, the novel ended with her loving him as much as before, if not more than before.
(≧∀≦)
Why is Spoon changing the novel so much? Everything is different after Claude lost his memory, HE WAS SUPPOSED TO GET HIS MEMORY BACK WHEN LUCAS CAME BACK WHAT IS THIS BS.
The funny thing is that I didn't actually dislike Jeanette that much at first. But she just started appearing more and more while not even develping in a likeable way that she just sorta overstayed her welcome and I get annoyed when she shows up lol. I think the way the novel portrays her makes a bit more sense, Ill give it a go thanks

this is the most healthy relationship ever.
