Bada maybe had a helping hand in developing the game (because someone had to of) and maybe he got stuck in the game. Something that hasn`t been established is if the game is magical/cursed or are they just stuck in VR.
But he is originally an npc, unless we got another plot twist that bada was actually coming before them all and they thought he was an npc but actually just another real person who came long before them, then it's a BOOM revelation
Yeah but how do we know he's an npc npc though? I mean if we remove everyone else's tapes they also turn into npcs. How is Bada different?
Aside from the college majors, here are a few things that make me think that Bada isnt just an ordinary npc:
- Bada is "a horror fanatic" (author's note)
- "He knows a lot about horror games" (Doha, ch53)

i honestly think that bada was the one of game developers who got stuck, considering his major and the ones you mentioned
This is also my theory. To add, I also think that Bada is not able to kill the killer, is due to the fact that his character avatar is an NPC that was never supposed to go past the bridge. It’s the only plausible reason. I think that the group where the only playable characters, so Bada (as a developer) had to improvise and use on of the NPC’s to maybe get them out? Who knows.
