Just by looking at the cover I decided to dismiss this manga without a second glance, until I saw a comment by chance saying it's a promising story ruined by giant boobs harem, so I decided to read the summary. Indeed, the summary makes it sound so interesting but the cover is so repulsive. Despite myself, I read the 2 available chapters and I have to say the mc seems really cool and the story has potential, but I can totally see the story is going to be completely ruined by unnecessary overused and annoying tropes like harem, ecchi, tsundere, useless airhead clumsy companion, lucky sukebe, violent terekakushi, unreasonably violent women pushing blame unto an innocent guy and the list goes on... but the thing that's ruining the manga with a single glance is those gigantic boobs. They are so huge to the point of being grotesque. It's not even sexy. the girl looks deformed. Just NO

Is it just me who doesn't like Xiao Yi Xian? The bad guys are so right, she's so volatile. Seriously, she even started a war against her own country and attacked her old town because boohoo she can't cure her poisonous body. She keeps crying about not wanting to hurt people but is the first to jump into a fight and even though she's supposed to be really powerful thanks to her special constitution, she's useless most of the time. Of all the different companions he's had, she's the one I like the least. I miss his teacher, my favorite character by far. He reminds me of Sai from Hikaru no go.

I feel like Kate is smart and stupid at the same time. She's smart and notices things quickly but then she does some stupid shit sometimes. Like she's suspicious of Ian but she isn't suspicious of the detective. Ugh... or how she just brushed away the possibility of her being a witch with the only reason being "there's no way a witch doesn't know she's one"
And that Daisy really needs a slap in the face. The guy clearly doesn't want her around but she won't let go. It was the guy who forced the kiss on Kate for god's sake. Kate has all the right to be pissed
And Ian really needs to fix that attitude of his

He's overthinking things way too much, as usual. Only showing good and pretty things to a child is not a good thing. As long as you explain things carefully to her it shouldn't be a problem. Sheltering a child too much will only result in them growing up being naive and incapable of surviving the harsh world
Wow. This story was very well written. The pace was great and even though it was a very serious story it didn't stress me out like a lot of other overly serious stories do. The author is very talented indeed. Not only was the whole story very well thought through, it was very well executed as well. A lot of stories tend to be promising but they end up being badly executed, or rushed, others get dragged, some you can't understand what is happening from the images and there are a lot that even make it super obvious the author just didn't know where to take the story anymore. Especially when it's a manga or webtoon which gets published while it's still being written, a lot of authors seem to go on a tangent and deviate from the story, but this one was on point the whole time. Of course I won't say everything was perfect, but this was one of the best written ones I've read so far (in terms of how the story was written and executed, which is different from being the most interesting). I did find it quite interesting but I wouldn't say it's at the top of my list.
The few flaws I found were:
1. That it was a little bit difficult telling who the main character of the story was at first. Of course, you could kind of guess, but the main character lacked a little bit of impact. Although I obviously loved Denzel through and through (he's the sweetest of the sweethearts ever) his presence was a bit thin at first.
2. *Spoilery reason here. Stop reading if you haven't finished the story* Kyle's intense love for his mother wasn't believable. Yes, he could love her, but she was never present, not once in his whole life. There's no way was about to betray his best friends because there might've been a small possibility that one of them killed her. Maybe if she was sane when he was little and had some memories of her taking care of him, but not like this. Plus, she had a heart attack, she wasn't physically attacked, which means that someone with golden eyes couldn't have been the culprit. It would've been simpler and more believable if he just didn't trust them enough after seeing their eyes changing, period.
3. *Spoilery reason* Denzel jumped to the conclusion that he was abandoned for no reason at all. Yes, yes, he was a bit traumatized after being betrayed by his beloved grandpa and being called a monster, but not once did his mom ever show anything besides unconditional love for him. He saw how his mom desperately tried to save him even after learning his eyes had turned. Logically thinking and emotionally thinking, there was no reason for him to think he had been abandoned. So that bit of the story pissed me off a little bit, but it was minimal lol.
I know it seems like I'm nitpicking stuff, but it only seems that way because I'm detailing the few flaws I found. No story is perfect and this is only the way I felt about the story. Mostly good, except for those 3 little things which is almost nothing. I'd give this story 4.85 out of 5
