This series was on indefinite hiatus before in lezhin, it's suspicious since if the hiatus was due to the author's situations then usually they'll put up proper notifications..but this one didn't. I wouldn't be surprised if this ends very soon with rushed ending just like all the other lezhins's series with long/repeated hiatus

I tell you guys what jerks do in this situation...is that when they are after Junwoo's big house or money, or just use him for sex cause he's available for free and desperate. But a hyung who stopped someone from suicide and another guy who agreed to look after him on the basis that he feels pity are jerks or shady too?! Come on, get your narrow-minded minds out of the gutter! Put yourself NOT on Junwoo's side for a bit, if you see a shut-in who lives by himself who is suicidal and you don't feel pity then you are heartless...so what if he felt pity? Is pity not a feeling too? Can't it change to respect or love after getting to know better sides of your partner? Ofc it could...and only good people with empathy can feel pity towards others who are having bad times..jerks will only take advantage of other's gruesome circumtances. That hyung just happened to be gay too, so it's not like he was forced to have sex with junwoo.. besides, don't be immature, y'all expect that hyung to genuinely love junwoo from the first time? How come when junwoo doesn't even love himself first, and it's not like he had that many obvious likeable values with him being like that...if what he feels is pity first then so be it, at least he actually takes care of him properly,,,feelings can gradually change after knowing each other

Hence why I said we should see it Not from Junwoo's perspectives... we should try to understand why or what makes depressed people like that, but positioning ourselves in their way of thinking won't help them at all..
no one likes to be pitied naturally, unless they were 'beggars' or opportunists, so it's natural for junwoo to act betrayed and upset..
Tho i don't read raws so this hyung can be sincere or not idk..i'm talking about this moment, that pitying others as a reason to start a relationship is not a sin, it is what normal human should feel toward a troubled man like junwoo

Wooyeon has no obligation to love Junwoo. But how can you act so loving and caring about someone and then turn around and speak about them like they're a burden? How can you speak about someone you "came to help" like that? Especially someone who already has depression and low self-esteem. As of right now, I can't trust anything Wooyeon says. His talk with Hanbit strongly suggests that he's not doing this solely out of compassion. Maybe it's a misunderstanding but the words and tone he used really bother me.

I see those TLC from him as him trying to help but at the same time also walking on egg shells around junwoo since he now understands more of the depth of his depression and loneliness. Remember he wasn't very gentle to him at first when he arrived there.
Plus he did slip out that hanbit used his weakness to make him agree to this. Yet prolly hanbit never define what wooyeon's limitations are in getting involved with junwoo. He didn't really get what he signed up for and now that he gets too deep and junwoo gets too attached, it is normal for him to feel slightly burden by it. From what I see NOW is that at first he felt pity and curious, agreed to help, thought that junwoo's problems are loneliness and poor self-care so he helps with that by being his friend. He, after all, isn't a professional helper for depressed people. The only problem I see is that he shouldn't sleep with junwoo, but maybe that's just the way he deals with things outside, maybe he's a promiscuous guy, but that's beside the point. The author needs smut anyway.
As I stated that what I find problem now in other comments is that a person helping a depressed people or making friends with them out of pity is considered wrong and insincere while actually it is very humane to do so. And Junwoo's reaction is also normal.
If in the future it turns out he is after something from junwoo then hanbit may have involved in it too. Then if that all revealed we can say for sure they are bad. For now apart from Junwoo's assets, i don't see what else they could have after. Unless wooyeon was actually someone from junwoo's past

Pity is not the same as sympathy/empathy. Pity has a negative connotation in English. If the translation is accurate, then Wooyeon is an idiot for using that specific word. Just to be clear, I don't think Wooyeon is trying to hurt Junwoo, but by leading him on and skirting around the truth, he ends up hurting him anyway.

It's pretty funny since the story started here, the MC gives off the feel of a delicate, polite, and serious character. While when reading the novel, the first impression I got of him is he's a bit of a dork LOL, a very intelligent straightforward yet awkwardly dorky person ahahah
OMG! Fu yao is also very beautiful!!
I'm always impressed that the 3 mxtx novels made to manhua and all the intricate details which aren't explicitly mentioned in the novel are really following the popular fanarts out there, like the hairstyle, the face features and all
That's ma boi Jensen!! A real man doesn't get too hung up with pride and just let misunderstanding goin on.. a real man goes for what he wants
