I always prefer the novels more than the comics. But for this one i can't think i can handle the more descriptive of this long-time torture.. i mean the manhua is already hurting me to the bones. Anyone who read the novels tells me if it's any better ╥﹏╥

I didn't understand all the curses about the ending of this one... I'm glad i don't listen to those comments and proceed to read this (for those who hasn't read, don't let is stop you). This comic is realistically good and totally worth reading!! This is Nishida Higashi's typical ending tho so nothing's too bad, it is always unsatisfying due to open ending but leaves the notion of an eventual happy ending. The plot and characters are as always anti-mainstream. Just by reading the comments I've thought that Jack gone back to underworld America or one of them dead, this is waay better than that. Now Takahiro admits he's looking for Jack, and jack has shown himself. Takahiro got rid of his rope that is his father's shadow so we can just imagine the ending: these two will start over.. or continue where they left off
Yep, this one stood out, as it showed that things just didn't magically slot into place. The American character needed time adjusting to his new environment, and the politician was emerging in his own right, their relationship took second place, but the open ending shows they may at a time to rekindle. Yes it would have been easy, simple reading if the American just went to live with the politician in Japan, but maybe that would have just resulted in the American going back to the USA, as they were living two different worlds.
