Did you think so? For me, it's much more like one of those very standard skill-stealing ones like Dungeon Seeker or Ubau Mono Ubawareru Mono; but, if your point was that it's not a very original idea, I agree with you there.
(Well, few of these RPG-type-world ones are greatly original, so it all comes down to whether story's cleverly or clumsily told, I think. I'll wait and see with this one.)
I like this, i like the fact that it's not focused on just one couple and the different types of girls. From the yuri who assume they are one, to straigth girl that will turn into a yurigirl.

Hum I just read it because of the yuri tag but, since there are Echhi, Harem and Romance tag on it and a male as MC , I don't thinks this story will lead to a yuri ending, so those who expect a yuri ending be prepared for the worst.
From my point of view I associate the yuri tage as a part of the ecchi tag.

Well, there are two ways to interpret that.
One is that everybody is a child while they're in limbo, so however long Fine lived, her soul was still young when she came back to Monica.
The other is that Fine, upon seeing the ring and remembering her love, er...rushed to return to her. This is pretty unlikely, though, if the author actually knows their catholic dogma. Suicide is the one unforgivable sin. If she'd killed herself, she wouldn't be coming back to purgatory. She'd be...going somewhere else. (And purgatory is a pretty specifically Catholic belief)
So I tend to think she lived her life, held Monica in her heart, and was reunited after passing on.
