Did I just read "Sub-Human" ? Welp this a total disqualification for me.
I have to say but katherine was a selfish bitch too. So damn selfish and naive ( your typical spoiled ojou-sama) to the point of not liking her own pitiful little sister. No wonder linda had enough and somehow "betrayed" her. Now can't dislike linda as much I disliked her before.
She was abused... Dont know what you expect out of an unstable woman but it's hard to love when you can't do anything about her hate

i believe she was forced. Lynda herself couldn't live with her jealousy and ignored her pain. She couldn't love her sister because of how she was forced to stay trapped in that mansion for her and Lynda still ignores that.
What can linda do about the fact that she was stick in her parent mension as a maid ? Take her way ? No ,Katherine had no thought about Linda at all , unlike Ellen with Mrs.White. All Katherine thought was about some man she enamored with while totaly ignoring how Linda feeks (I bet Katherine didn't even noticed). Linda being jalous is not as bad as katherine hurt Linda. "Now" that katherine is in bad position doesn't excuse her behavior toward Linda who try to give a little attention to baby Ellen. Hating a baby who didn't nothing because you're a bad position is simply dumb and selfish.

From what I understood , Linda is feeling guilty for Katherine's death and Is trying to keep Ellen alive even if it means to hurt Ellen , at least she alive. Now she understoop that her method to keep Ellen alive was not a good method (well its not like she could have done anything against Lord "Rose" , so she kept low profil). Now that Ellen is grown up enough and "isn't alone" anymore, she can try to do something for not only keep Ellen alive but safe too. So these whole comments are only my thought on what I've read and understood so far in the history. Linda being a misunderstood character.

Lynda made her choice and she must live with it. And she doesn't actually start working on her mistake 'til the new maid came in and actually tried to help her, but even then Lynda still chose to watch and wait. In the latest chapter, she decided to forget about her grudges against her sister/mother to be able to lift the will to help the poor girl. She's a complex character I know, but what she did is still unforgivable imo. This last good deed might cause her death in this series who know.
And here I thought I understood the relationship beetween Katherin and Ellen.
Then Linda just drop a bomb that she is Katherine's daughter which doesn't make sense since the previous chapters say otherwise. One thing is sure is that she's not the bastard daughter.
Does this mean that katherine got pregnant because of the "guy she loved but couldn't get married with" ? This need to be cleared.

So he isn't her father but her brother-in-law and Lady Rose is her sister (but she doesn't know any of this). Ok now I see the picture.
So this guy in order take the Rose family's fortune maried(parents's choice) Lady Rose but and unexpected turn of event ocure, that is Ellen's birth. So his plan of getting the Rose familly's wealth didn't gone well even after Lady Rose's death( suicide ? assassination ?) and now try to control (kill) the actual heir which is the sister(Ellen).
Still , why don't they just kill him ?

If you have noticed , no one ever mentioned that Ellen is Katherin's dauther aside from Ellen herself who call her "Mother". Neither the headmaid(Linda) nor this f**king bastard guy did (in fact he said himself she isn't his daughter) nor Kathering's ghost( who called Ellen "the child" , not "My duaghter") . In chapter 21 ,during one of Linda's flashback, when Ellen was born Katherin was in from of a mirror then Linda annouced her Ellen's birth (it was their mother who gave birth to Ellen). If you look closely in the familly photo , you can see 3 people sit on chairs ( both parents and the bastard) and Kathering kneeling next to their mother and Ellen in their mother's hands.
Also in the begining of the story when Linda introduced Marie to Ellen ,she mentioned that Ellen was the heir. Also called her "Lord Rose's *only* daughter". But after the recent chapter, I suppose that this "Lord Rose" is the Previous lord Rose (their Father).
The current Lord Rose (the bastard guy) took the name of the bride familly name (Aaron is actually trying to do the same)
