in some nations like the middle east or Korea if you are gay the amount of work you will get in certain professions will decrease if you are not just flat drummed out of the business through not getting any work athletics dancers and models all have to be very careful not to have their love lives exposed even more so if they are gay BI or bian it is horrible but it is what it is . keep in mind i say that coming from the perspective of the parent of more than one lesbian and my older daughter is living in japan with her wife and she tells me quite often that she hates how people like her are treated in business

yes it is discrimination however as i stated in many area's of the world and depending on what you line of work is the job market can be quite difficult for non hetero people to deal with for instance in Korea classical dancers like Ballet Dancer's can and are more often than not drummed out of the business if they are lesbian mainly due to the simple fact that most Korea's are still what most americans would call very conservative in how they see things
Not only Korean, it's like that most of the Asian countries, and it is because the media and people in those countries are what you would call prejudice and they can't tolerate people who are different from majority and I am also from that kind of country and seeing either hate comments or jokes that can harm the people on medias exhaust me ..........
