out of nowhere, he starts freaking out about the alpha’s swollen cheek and reaches up to touch it. that's some bad writing IMO it seems like the author just throws a lame excuse for them to have skinship. i don’t think it would be that easy to do that to someone he’s had a rocky past with in their very first meeting, especially after ghosting him for a whole month. shouldn’t the beta be more upset? weirded out?

I agree with you that it makes no sense that the beta softened up towards the alpha- but in real life, it happens. While It does seem like the beta is weak and naive, it goes to show he was blindly in love with the alpha that after all of that… he still has some feelings for him.

brooo this pisses me off. both alpha and omega suck. but the alpha is way more insufferable. every thing he did, the self pity, oh god. as much as i hate how manipulative the omega at least he’s nice to jihyuk.
They're actuallly both equally insufferable. Both are rapists. One is a malicious manipulator on top of being a rapist i.e. the omega. So because the omega has had a chance to be nice, he's suddenly better? And what happens then, when the alpha gets his own chance to be nice to the beta?
Finally! It's about time the story addresses Takamada's wicked side. Even if he doesn't act on it, it should be mentioned occasionally since it's a part of who he is. It wouldn't make sense for his behavior to change so abruptly without any remnants of his past self. The story wouldn't be coherent, no matter how dark it gets.
And at least now he’s genuinely trying to control himself.
