Why do authors love to make the bottoms (MCs) come back to their abusers time and time again? They struggle to break free, but always find themselves drawn back in. Can we have a story where the MC has the strength to say no and stand their ground? I hope this chap seals the deal that he won’t come back to the alpha.

the key plot is like Mayonaka Love Alliance, and i love that manga so much. pretty top is alway my thing. but idk for this one yet, so far i can enjoy this bcs this is funny in a silly way, although both characters are pretty annoying and insufferable (top is a rapist, and bottom seems like a loser) also, the top doesn’t look like men at all (have male anatomy, broad shoulders etc) except when they have sex. i am sorry but personally that bugs me. nevertheless, i hope the story gets a good turn and there’s development in their characters.
I really love mayonaka love alliance too... I really do but this one isn't doing it. Only if i read it when i really don't care what I'm reading i can do so without being bothered. Does this not have any editors?
i basically see this as total crack, so i can brush off some weird scenes as just being deliberately silly, haha. but yeah, there's only so much i can let slide. on the other hand mayonaka love alliance is more enjoyable because it makes more sense and realistic to me. despite its short chapters, the manga effectively develops its storyline.
