listen i get what you mean. the following thing is a bit oof yes. but just like you’re writing off her actions as “shes in heat” pls remember the same world logic applies to him bc theyre both in that a/o/b world setting so he’s just as affected by her heat if not more. its literally a mechanism to portray how the baser instincts take over completely in both of them. and even in the later panels, you see her on top always and never him. i would say thats meant to portray that she coerced him more than anything else. she did more than just “say a few words” and she was the one who acted on it. does that make the whole thing ok? no. but dont go blaming one character in a setting thats clearly meant to portray both sides in equal complexity given the whole heat/scent/omega/alpha setting. sure she didnt rape him by your logic but he didnt either. it was coercion on her end and “losing of control and giving in” on his bc again, remember, they’re both being driven by this baser instinct logic.

1. I think you need to reread it and see the ordernof events - he grabbed her FIRST, she legit said “stop let me go”, she didn’t go up to him in the middle of the street and said “fuck me”. 2. He was sober enough to say “I wouldn’t have done this” - meaning he is willingly doing this and is conscious enough to UNDERSTAND what he is doing

All of those words you’re quoting from him have been in a square dialogue box in this chapter which means its the present him (the him that is now living with her) reflecting back on the incident that started it all. It is not his inner thoughts in that very moment bc those are in highlighted circles and those circles very clearly reflect his immediate regret when he realizes whats about to happen.

3. We can argue about this all we want but the truth is this whole heat thing is not real and so we can only go by what the author shows which, in this case, shows him being just as affected as her in terms of handling things. Again, unless you skipped over my words earlier, none of that makes what happened between them okay in any way. But it most certainly does not mean one of them is completely in the wrong and the other should live stress free.

4. Surprise! The portrayal of the whole heat thing does actually mean that even a supposed top dog, alpha, strongest of the strong bends a knee to his baser instincts. Sure you can call him weak but thats exactly the point. Just like a cold, aloof girl like her would never have acted that way towards a stranger had it not been for the heat, his actions can also be chalked up to that. I think its the intensity of her heat. I disagree. It is true I am used to stories that have the pronouns flipped (he for she and she for him), but I'm not used to characters saying "Why did you puke up a flower" when they should have said "Why did I puke up a flower" since they were talking about themselves and not the other person (the "subject" person is NOT interchangeable). It's the worst I've seen in a long time. You lose the best meaning when you misuse pronouns. My rule of thumb is, if the original verbiage does not use pronouns, then don't throw them into the translation willy nilly, an example could be (using the phrase from earlier): Why were flowers puked up?

I've seen this a lot on many other manga comments section on this website. Even if someone's first language really isn't English, why is that used as an insult or a way to try to demean someone? And even if these are poorly translated for free, why aren't people allowed to complain about the poor translation?

No matter the language, there will always be mean people. Being a person who was apparently educated by dinosaurs, I probably shouldn't feel sorry for those whose English skills are subpar. Is it wrong to want everyone who reads a decent story to understand it no matter what language is used? Sure I get irritated at the misuse of the language (at least I can tell the difference), but how do the people who don't know the language well feel, are they enjoying the story, even though it's wrong? Or is the confusion too much?
