I don't know if the way Geon acts is because of his social anxiety or fear of getting exposed to his parents, or both, but I can understand him, I mean I wouldn't wanna talk about my complicated past in a public place, either. Even if people wouldn't hear what I was talking about, I would still feel terrible and scared, afraid of them overhearing me. I mean, I even feel like people stare at me, and talk and whisper about me because of my severe sosial anxiety, even though I know they don't. But I can't help it.
I also can understand Suo, he wants to have a healthy and happy relationship, but Geon keeps avoiding talking about their problems and his past. Suo just wants to tell him to feel at ease that no matter what happened in his past, it wouldn't affect their relationship as long as they loved and trusted each other. But their lack in communication and empathy towards each other makes things hard for them. It's something that they BOTH have to cooperate to fix, they alone cannot do this on their own, it will only make the situation worse if they don't work together in this relationship.
