the plot is nonexistent and this story is all over the place but it's funny and toma is my baby so imma keep up with it
for everyone saying they're confused, it'd probably be best to not keep with the next few updated chapters since they're explaining the larger plot of the story. what's making it hard to follow is that you're coming back after days at a time to an intense and intricate plotline which you've mostly forgotten about as the days passed. you're likely better off waiting or yet still waiting and rereading to understand!

-yama, the black haired grunge boy, is likely either the place of 'satan', or something like the head of what is in this story, the underworld. or he just oversees the deaths of humans and their recordkeeping for a safe travel to the underworld of their souls. either way, he is above geumsun and 704, and neither of them particularly like him. he's a douche.
-geumsun, the turquoise-haired bastard, is....i don't remember what he is. but suh san and 704 don't much appreciate him. geumsun be fuckin 704, for whatever reason. something about marking or i think vitality. geumsun is in some shady shit so he has access to those vitality capsules suh san took near the beginning of the story for health. i think geumsun is a goblin. i think.
-704, the quiet....deep-blue-haired dude? right? or was it black? we all know him, he has a very unusual name. if i remember correctly he's tasked somewhat with the care of suh san whom largely doesn't know what he's doing. he has a gun. it's strapped to him. basically he's strapped. but i think only certain...'members'? of the underworld can have access to these guns. if i remember suh san wasn't supposed to have one. i think it has something to do with experience? or like only reapers/rippers can have them. maybe. yama be fuckin on him or just touchin him to make geumsun mad. idk. 704 is like please can you get some business that isn't me thanks.
-suh san's lovebug uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh he has deep sluggish brown hair. he had a dog that passed, and i think some complications with his family. but nonetheless he initially only liked suh san at all because he reminded him of his deceased dog. i think suh san still reminds him of that. but i think suh san grew on slug boy because suh san actually gave a fuck about him. let it be known that slug boy is supposed to be dead, but he's haunted by casper the gangly ghost so that has something to do with him not being dead. ghosts want to possess him because his body is vulnerable because he's supposed to be, well, dead. i think he's a manwha artist/editor. suh san likes his work so he's like "damn guess i gotta do it".
-suh san, the red eyed grown bakugo, was a human turned possessed turned goblin. if i remember from like two chapters ago, he has been under the care of geumsun and 704 for what would be like 100 years maybe. idk. but he's highly inexperienced in goblin work and shit i think, so he largely just chills. i think yama knows his history but again if i remember from literally like to or three chapters ago he didn't even know where he was from for a while till he was like 'promise me you'll tell me my history!!1!!1!1' so. i guess his mom left him with his aunt bc he's seen ghosts and spirits since young and it bothered his poor mom so she as like 'ms. girl i need you to take this kid thanks!' if i'm not mistaken his mom died at some point. right? idk. but his aunt due to her ability had a complicated life with friends and family bc they'd often die or be hurt around her. she was supposed to marry this dude but he died too, so she committed in front of suh san, who was left wayward. then geumsun comes like 'sir i'm here to take ya life'. so he almost does but then casper the gangly ghost comes into possession like 'ohh urghhh how dare you think to take a human life that goes against your principles you heathen unngghh' and geumsun does that anime gasp and is like 'damn i couldn't eem do it' but he still sticks around san's crib so i assume at some point does kill him.
-okay so like i guess goblins need human fluid to sustain life. it's something like either blood or nut, conveniently for our aptly named yaoi. so like, suh san in the beginning took shady geumsun's vitality capsules which weren't enough, but now he booty fucks slug boy for life. so y'know how that goes.
-so okay so i take it ghosts on earth are lost souls or wayward spirits who couldn't make it to the underworld bc they either had unfinished business or were captured by other ghosts? idk? but they don't need vitality...i don't think.....but they do possess people for what i assume are reasons. the big bad ghost that initially possessed suh san is a Pretty Bad Guy i guess. i think he's powerful. he's a problem.
-the goblins and reapers, or just the goblins, idk, have these masks they can wear that elude them from the human eye, but some people like suh san before he died, have an affinity for contact with spirits/the dead so they can see trhough these masks.
-reapers......im like 94% i'm making this word up. all i can tell you is they exist and aren't the goblins. they're different. and that's important.
-casper the gangly ghost is the toes out white haired ghost that yama and company have been trying to catch for a hot minute but haven't succeeded since his overtaking of suh san. but then he tries to come for slug boy and suh san is like "no sir!" so they stake out at slug boy's crib and are close to throwing hands with toes out hoes out but then they lose somehow? and by they i mean yama sent some suboordinates or whomever to do it but they Failed Tastefully i think, or suh san interfered idk. but suh san forged a bow and arrow from his goblin energy and shot whispy white in the eye and then i think suh san almost died. and the suboordinates reported back to yama like "excuse the hell outta us" and i guess suh san wasn't supposed to do that, so yama called up 704 like "excuse the hell outta me and my suboordinates" so that was bad i guess. now mr. tattered and torn ghost is wherever which is a problem bc i guess he's gonna come back stronger.
that is literally all i gather at the moment.

yeah the plot is actually incredibly detailed and very unique of a take. it's just hard to have such a plot in a webtoon that updates weekly where readers open every chapter like "pause.....i don't understand" bc it isn't in a book that you can keep reading and retain information. happy to (attempt to) help! <3
