its meh. extremely predictable. the plot is nothing new. they could've at least have better characterization, but they're all so plain. it feels like i've read this on wattpad or something. i'm so over the "oh i hate him because he broke my heart but i'm still so very attracted to him and i'm going to be very obvious about it too" character. i wish they'd let her be more petty. i want her to be more rejecting of the male lead instead of getting played by him. it seems like she was deeply hurt and had a hard time because of their divorce, so i don't get why she's acting like she's a lovesick high school girl. if it weren't for the random "oh, i was hurt by him before, why am i like this?" thoughts, i would've just thought that they broke up in middle school over a small fight. also, i just hate these regretful men who are so pushy. you're the one who hurt her, so maybe back off a bit? it's so disrespectful to the female lead's feelings. i'm so tired of selfish ml that forget they hurt the fl badly and keep being persistent. i don't care what your reason is. you did something wrong, and it's on you for not talking it out with her.

if you love this trope, then you'll love reading this. but if you want something new, you might just end up frustrated.
