Why’d they change the names to be western/English sounding names in the official??? Like I don’t get it ;o;
I have read several official translation/localisation for webtoons. They changed the name to make it more familiar to the western and other english speaking audiences. But, honestly, I think it’s not respectful to change the names from the original source. Like, what’s so difficult using original names. It’s not like Korean names are exactly difficult to pronounce or remember.
I like how they change it to be more memorable to English audience but they choose the plainest names for them lmao

At that, I agree. Just leave names the same as it is. Korean webtoons, Korean names. How hard could it be? Also, it takes aways the immersion if the names are changed.
