I think running away from him abruptly wasn’t the best choice BUT distancing himself slowly would have been better. Im with the idea of putting some distance between each other to comprehend the situation and to move on. I honestly think he needs to be away from this guy to truly get over him. If he is with him like he was for the past 15 years, he will never get over him. I understand thats the point of the plot or whatever. But rn its frustrating to see the pain on mc’s face every two seconds. He clearly needs some time away from this guy to accept reality.
