That's an interesting question bc IMO Dane has never stated what he was...that I can recall. And add to confusion is his comment of not trusting omega yet he did help Josh get more inhibitor meds. And he didn't seem fazed by KP's pheromones when he went to get Yeonwoo (and even openly challenged Keith)
I really like the 2nd couple more but I agree with another reader than they should have had a separate side story that just focused on them instead of sprinkled into the main couple's storyline.

Do Dane and Grayson first meet in Kiss Me If You Can?
not really, but i think it's slightly hinted. in the side stories you see a change in Grayson which prob has smth to do with Dane. but those two don't have scenes face-to-face from what i'm remembering

no prob!! i think it's a good change tbh. you can't really tell at first because Grayson's still at the beginning of his change at the end of Kiss Me If You Can, but you can still see that he's trying to change!
so spoiler from side stories of kmiyc:
Grayson drives hours only to search for and pick up Josh to bring him to Chase who was in rut. When Josh asked why Grayson would go to such lengths, Grayson said something like, "Because he's my little brother."
Also, in all those scenes at the end with Grayson, it's specifically said that he isn't smiling 24/7 anymore. He's actually looking serious, instead of hiding behind his smiling facade.
After Josh arrived and went to see Chase, the doctor (Steward) asked Grayson if he felt anything (by doing this favour for Chase), but Grayson denied it.
I think that already hints that Grayson wants to change and feel emotions. And that's probably linked to Dane!
Dane was also kind of 'suspiciously' acting in the side stories. This plays pretty early on in the side stories. Josh and Dane meet up to catch up, but Dane acted kind of weird, Josh thought. Dane probably wanted to talk about something that happened to him (most likely smth to do with Grayson), but he kept his mouth shut. So their story most likely began at the beginning of kmiyc side stories!
Ahhhh... that's so exciting! You probably are right since both were acting different. I can only see Grayson changing because of something drastic like finally meeting the love of his life. I really want their story soooo bad bc i can see their story being hotter and more passionate than Josh + Chase. Also, I can easily see Dane being a dom uke but it would be better if they were a switch couple lol. Thank you so much for the spoilers - you're amazinggggggg!

YEAHH Dane as dom bottom, that has to be it. I hope he also makes Grayson suffer a lot to accommodate everything he had done to Chase
Dane is going to turn Graysons world upside down, for better or for worse lol. These two kind of remind me of Dohyeok x Siwoo from My Suha. Although I hope the ending won't be similar bc there was no closure. Both characters were also manwhores and neither experienced real love but a lot of people were rooting for Dohyeok at the end of his story. Still hoping for his full redemption arc.
