somebody PLEASE explain this in stupid people words

the tape doha used to save in the earlier chapters was bada’s cousins. after doha used his tape it deleted his old data so he forgot they were in a game again. bc he forgot they were in a game his behaviour changed a lot so doha noticed and realised he’s actually a player character too. rn it look like all the characters have individual tapes so they’re not actually npcs. my guess is the way to escape the game is for everyone to work together after using a tape and learning they’re all stuck in a game

Here is a recap that I hope will help. During the torture room scene after Doha killed the killer, Bada revealed that they were in a game. Doha was skeptical, but they started to search for clues together. Doha found a hidden cassette player and didn’t tell because he was still suspicious of Bada, he ending up saving with a check-marked cassette and kept his memories in the next session. Bada was distracted with Doha remembering, but Doha noticed that the cousin was very different compared to the last session; he always made a phone call first and directed other people away from Bada. Apparently the hidden cassette tape belonged to the cousin and Doha using it overwrote his save; the cousin has reverted back to default NPC. Still not sure what the cousin was doing behind the scenes, especially with him not interacting with Bada.

In this session, Doha sent two people back to disrupt Bada’s gameplay while he interrogated the cousin Seongchan again. Bada had a more emotional(?) conversation with Jae-seob earlier which led to him helping Bada when they ran from the killer. They ran to a building that Jae-seob and Hyungshin usually end up at together and end up finding ANOTHER hidden cassette player and tape with “End” written all over it. The writing looks like the same red as the check-marked tape so I think that Seongchan hid both cassettes and maybe knew a lot more about the game.
guys i dont get it
