okay so there were a LOT of mixed reviews about this. but since its complete and there are so few action BLs out there i gave it a shot and honestly? im so glad i did. the plot could be better yes and its not perfect. BUT for a 95 chapter BL this is pretty darn good overall. i loved the whole team dynamic and listen i love me a sunshine couple but a good broken couple hits different. there were a lot of moments where i got frustrated with mc bc hes kind of a pushover but then u gotta remind yourself bro has an insane amount of trauma/depression and his frontal lobe aint even done developing yet. same thing with ml. bro is creepy as hell and i dont love him but again! he literally has a fucked up life since he was a kid with the only family he has left trying to kill him since he was 8! ofc hes gonna be controlling and a freak. and pookie saw that and still fell in love with him so! good for them theyre perfect for each other. i just wish there were side stories bc tbh this was slow burn in terms of them acknowledging their feelings rather than chemistry together. so i wouldve like some fluff after all that where they show more reciprocated feelings rather than just vague spicy scenes.
