I liked it - but let me see if I got it straight: the threatening letters were no more than funny poems, or "dirty haiku" that the Officer was leaving for the guy who left for Osaka in the spring?! And this Officer didn't know, right? So he kept leaving them and Mizuguchi thought he was in danger of being raped ...
By the way, what kind of Officer was he?
I had read this a while ago, so this was remembering. I liked the story and thought both the Security Guard and Mizuguchi were kind of sexy. ;))

Loved it sooo much!
On page 7, Taishou reminds me of Asami ... especially around the eyes. Anybody thinks he same??
TOO SHORT!!

That was steamy ....
OMG for a butler like that (I'm not insisting on a 2nd one!!): WHY IS IT SOOOO SHORT ?? Damn!

I loved the story; I don't think it was meant to be funny though ... the uke is so insecure about what he should with his life and which choices he should be making that he chances facing the seme, who apparently he had rejected before; that little push was all he had needed to make up his mind, on something he couldn't forget anyway ... TOO BLOODY SHORT SENSEI !!! ^~^

I loved the story! In fact, certain situations with this couple made me remember some gay couples friends of mine - the tension, the insecurity, the aggressiveness, the jealousy ... In my opinion, Okada Sayo-sensei portrayed an adult gay couple, with some frailties of their own, and the uke feeling emasculated for "being held", instead of his doing the "holding", didn't make things easier, especially being 35 years old against the 27 of the seme - on the contrary. He has already admitted his love for Haruhisa, but he's still displaying a frown of uneasiness and angst - maybe he still has some growing up to do.
I would love to see how Okada Sayo-sensei will solve Hikawa-san's pride - without this, he won't be in this relationship heart and soul, I don't think! >.<

Hikawa's pride? I think it's just normal feelings to want to hold the one you love rather than just being held all the time? So I have no idea what you're talking about. I also know you've mistaken the one who is the real problem in the relationship. That would be Jyounouchi of course. He's the one who keeps chasing after Hikawa but pays less attention to him and more attention to others. He needed to learn a lesson on how immature he is and Hikawa went about it the only way he could. Although, I am saddened because I am unsurprised by the attitude you have towards Hikawa's character. It's kinda... cliched, sadly and unfortunately.

Well said. This manga remains just cliche and misunderstood real issues. Excessive jealousy isn't always correct and I get irked when it's proven correct in the plot that oh, this jealous guy was always right all along! A balance between social and personal life is always key and no matter how progressive this manga tried to look, it still fall short by repeating tropes.

I started re-reading this manga because, somehow, I had forgotten its name, even though it was one of my first ... It all came back to me; I love it because it's quite a realistic picture of this environment - a nest of terrible busybodies! Natsuke Isaku-sensei calls it a commune - I first found it amazing that Izumi was able to settle down amongst this group of people (but then I found out he was jut like them!) - I love the two couples, but when we first meet Haruto and Jin's characters, they seem to be everything except "normal" people - the 1st, a moron who has a morbid curiosity about other people's private lives (they all do); Jin comes off as a jealous oaf - but then we get to know them better and I really like Jin and he's actually my favourite; he is so cute and sexy, and very innocent. He does not deserve Momo's bullshit - I wonder what is going to happen to them both. Momo needs to grow BALLS and a lesson in manliness!
As for Haruto and Izumi, I don't know who learns from whom - they are both so silly ... even though sometimes Haruto seems to find a grain of intelligence in his brain to the surprise of his lover (when he asked him if he was stupid and if he didn't have his own opinions); as for the women, I absolutely hate them - they are nosy, obnoxious and generally aggravating - they are intolerably rude. Ayano meddles in (everybody's) Momo and Jin's lives - because she's curious! SHE WANTS TO KNOW!! Hazuki blurts out something that was supposed to be confidential about Momo moving - just because of her selfishness and her ego trip ...
I want to see Jin happy, so I'd love an update ASAP ! O;O

One of Kamo Nabako-sensei's best stories - sweet, romantic ... the old city, their way of life, the views, the kimono - it all made me want even more to visit Japan!! HE!HE! I just wish there was a Takumi waiting there for me (sigh), Geeze! What a hottie! I love his hair!
As for Hana, he's a sweet-heart, but he grew on me. As a character, he seemed very much a cartoon, but somehow as the story progressed, I forgot about it. Is he all there? He seems to be a bit slow ... His father, I think, alluded to bad health but that doesn't say much - he prefered nodding to saying "yes" ...
For goodness sake, the rikshaw guys, they all looked awesome - I wish this was a type of marketing common to all businesses and all countries. Everything and everybody would be sooo much more .... WOW !! TTvTT

No ... not my thing. And I sense trouble coming for poor Sou ...
Why was this drawn at all - just for the sex scene? And then marked as complete ... WTF was complete about it ? The last 3 or 4 pages are even weirder >~<
