In the first 4 chapters, I was just expecting the plot go with the uke irrationally falling in love with the seme or getting together with his bro like there was no problem with that as usually goes in those mangas. Suprisingly, the story actually developed in a good way. Uke and his brother talked out their situation and both acknowledged that even thought they both liked each other it would be the best not get together. Seme also didn't was just one more sadist asshole character hurting the uke for the kicks, he had an actual motivation to explain that and in the end recognizes that even with his backstory he did a horrible thing. Overall, it's a dark read, but the characters have well developed backstories, thoughts and growth, and the plot rejects bad tropes common in yaoi towards the ending so I consider it a good read.
Honestly it was the only rape in BL I would allow.
