I get the dislike but if you don't get over this overrated hate, by the time the story ends, you're not gonna like it. Dan and Jae are end game, weather you like it or not.

You hate him so much, you're dragging Granny into it. The bystander. Someone is unaware of all the drama. You're mad at her. Does that make sense?

I'm really interested in how they gonna do the whole redemption arc, cause I just don't see it happening. The story for me is not just about the endgame, it's Dan's journey to learn how to love life when he actually never had the privilege to do so. He's probably gonna deal with grief, and it's not gonna be easy, but I REALLY like Dan as a character. Of course, there are stories that I read just for the romance, but Jinx is not one of those and it's been a long time. If the redemption won't be enough for me to hate Jaekyung less, of course I will be frustrated, but the story it's not just that for me, so I won't have trouble "coping". It's fine to hate a character because of his actions, I don't think Mingwa's intention was to make everyone LOOOVE Jaekyung at first, but it's part of reading fiction, you feel things, you like things, you hate things, you get frustrated. It's not that deep. And if the only reason for me to read Jinx was wether Dan and Jaekyung are gonna get together or not, I would have already dropped this a long time ago.

I'm not mad at her, I'm mad at the situation, like I said to another person who replied to my comment. I phrased it in a way that, on my language (which is not English by the way) makes more sense than in English per se, so I understand the misunderstanding. I'm not mad at Grandma, I'm mad at the situation, that she doesn't know how deep the drama actually is, and her innocent support is hurting Dan (and he did said that he DOES NOT want to be close to Jaekyung or connected to him in any way after everything he'd been through). Dan is clearly depressed, and needs help, and this whole situation with Jaekyung is definitely not helping. That's why I'm frustrated, but I'm not blaming Granny for it, she doesn't know.

I do believe Jae was meant ti be unlikable at the start since we are mainly following Kim Dan as he is MC.

The redemption arc started once Dan left as we saw glimpse of what Jaekyung was doing when Danny left. It was if he had a break up and was coping with it. Once he was closer to Dan again, he stopped the drinking and the insomnia went away.

I do give the dislike, just not the venomous hate.
