And all of this honestly sucks bc from what I'm seeing, if he returns, he'll forget about that world and his love and everything else as well as they all forgetting about Koichi. That's what I feel is going to happen. So to me, I think the choice he has to make is whether he wants to forget his friends and family and/or him forgetting them or the other way around with the world he is currently in. If there is a way still for him to go back.
