yall i have sm hatred for mikhail rn its insane. im on chapter 28 (never read this before) and he finally realized she actually has a weak constitution and he's feeling bad. I have never in the past 7 years of my manhwa journey have i blurted out such profanities ending with a kys to a fictional character. i usually just type out my feelings in comment sections like i am rn with no censorship

I've finally caught up and read everything. This is my opinion and I'd appreciate it if anyone didn't try to argue with me over it but I just feel nothing but pity for all of them. I don't wish death upon them for what they've done to Yugeon or anything of the sort. I don't even feel hatred towards the Center who are antagonists (not the main villain but a clear enemy and problem) in this story. I just feel pity tbh. This is clear evidence from the Center's actions to the people creating a cult that this is a very possible mindset for people to have when facing something as haunting as anomalies and Almuten to me at least and I genuinely just wish that nightmare would end for them. They have to sacrifice their lives and constantly experience pain and fear going into those gates and seeing horrors to the point of going insane. I'm not saying in the slightest that their actions shouldn't have consequences and tbh I'm upset that they dragged Yugeon into said horrors and treated him the way they did. the Center and the 4 of them. But I just feel bad for all of them. One was treated like an experiment; basically was one tbh, one killed his sister who was a guide, one was driven to the point of literal insanity, and I'm feeling pretty confident saying that his psychic ability played a hand in that, and the 4th idrk aside from the fact that chan (forgot their names already damn so sorry if I'm wrong) was part of the Saliga-? unit and had to go through that training. I don't think it specified what was wrong with him that made him that way. It did not specify the psychic user either but it's pretty evident he's mentally unstable at a dangerous level and it's not even bc of a lack of guidance. Yugeon is also just fucked up as well. Before they even brought him in the way they treated him expedited that process tbh and his brother's death was the straw that broke the camel's back. I'm not wanting a romantic ending to this at all whatsoever. It just feels like one of those situations where Yugeon will be with him or them but will never truly forgive any of them and they're just with each other for each other's comfort and care if that makes sense idrk how to explain it well. Like they're choosing each to fall into the abyss and sink together and stay by each other's side accepting the pain they inflict on each other. This whole story imo plot aside is just a whirlwind of actions fueled by circumstances, PTSD/ trauma/ mental instability, rape, and manipulative tactics (examples of manipulation are when the commander used Yugeon's brother to bring him to Erewhon or when the Center used Yugeon to bring the commander to the portal or when the commander used "good job" stamps to let him see his brother. these are specifically the ones targeted at Yugeon but I'm pretty sure there are more cases of manipulation not regarding him like when the commander exposed the center to the public). I typed a lot sorry but I just used this as a means of wanting to put what I think out there as well as get my thoughts sorted as well. To make it clear though I don't like rape or the abuse they put Yugeon through. Like I said before there should be consequences for the actions they took regarding Yugeon and disregarding him. They all need serious help when this is all over.
