I have a theory
What if this town makes it that people lose their memories like ml didn't have any memories and the mc is starting to lose his memories

Am I the only one who noticed that all the girls in this manhwas are mean

Alice May 3, 2025 11:07 pm

Did they just stole the "I love you is the safe word" from 'Crucial Point' or is like a common tropes in bdsm manhwas

    ari May 3, 2025 11:10 pm

It's sort of common. There are many story on ao3 or even wattpad with "i love/like you" as the safe words

    Ruri May 3, 2025 11:10 pm

a common safeword in bdsm since it stop romantic feelings to develop much when having sex (〜 ̄△ ̄)〜

    Moon12 May 3, 2025 11:12 pm

It’s sooooooo common tbh. I’ve read a pretty good amount of stories where they use “I love you” or something similar as a safe word. I think it’s because they assume they would never develop feelings for each other so they use something they would never say.

I didn't know this was a trend. It seems like such a bad idea to make a person associate "I like/love you" with negative intimate experiences, it just messes with their head. It supposedly preventing feelings from developing does not make sense to me

i don't think it's a trend irl, i think they just do it for dramatic effect in manhwas for no reason. like is it that hard to just say "the safeword is giraffes" ffs -___-

Sorry, I ment a trend for fics and manhwas, should have been more precise. It's just such a silly thing to add for dramatics. I found it off putting when the ML did it, especially since he is supposed to be an experienced dom
