I think this is one of the most well written manga in this site, too bad it has such a low rating. It's a psychological manga, not a typical "end up with the rapist" romance. It's not love, it's guilt and dependance. The ending, even thought sad, is quite fitting imo. Props to the author for her realistic character development.

Not a member so can't click the thumbs up.. but I agree with what you said so thumbs up

yeah, but it felt too melodramatic to me rather than realistic. Would this what happen in realistic setting? The victim would stick there from fear of being exposed usually (it was minor, public prejudice) or really serious psychological problem. The story felt justifying them ending up together.
But it was well written indeed.

When I said realistic I meant the whole story, not just the end. The victim in the beginning, as you said, did stay with Hikaru because of fear, and he did become mentally unstable -and still is. Everyone gets different feelings from a story, but I don't think the author just tried to justify them ending together. To me the story wanted to show the process of thinking of a mentally scarred person, and how these experiences can lead him to this unhealthy relationship.
Wow, Ryan really has a soft spot for Christoph. When he suspected Kyon, he forced him to leave and he would've let him die, but now he lets Chris go with just a pat in the head- even though he technically killed Lucaon's parents.
I realy hate this part of him he'd kill poor kyon for nothing and then he's been so fucking kind to Chris ┑( ̄Д ̄)┍
Right? Goes to show he isnt beyond being a fool for love
yeah you said it
Lol, maybe Kyon should have dyed his hair blond... (=・ω・=)
Seriously though, Im not sure whether Christoph killed that servant who poisoned the Selviors in order to get rid of witnesses, or out of revenge? The servant's complete surprise at his attack makes me think it could have been the latter.
I kinda hope he didn't kill him so they can use him to cure Ryan, but if he did, I think it was to get rid of witnesses. The servant would still be suprised since he probably didn't expect his accomplice to kill him after finishing the job. Edwin probably made him do it.
wtf. Okay lets get this straight. Chris worked for Ryan FOR YEARS, he knows how he behaves, he knows how he acts. Yeah hes villain and the betrayal was unexpected, but that does not change the behavior of chris. Ryan knows chris, and he knows he didn't do it out of venom
whereas he doesn't know kyon at all and with kyon personality of barging in with no obedience in many situations that Ryan saw. What would Ryan expect? He suspected that he was the villain doing out of venom
Kyon only worked for A YEAR in lucaon manison, it had all right for Ryan to suspect a stranger just to PROTECT HIS FAMILY.
a thing for blond
