From my understanding after browsing Reddit: they were in a scenario where they had to roleplay, but they were stuck doing that for so long they forgot over time that they were actually roleplaying. In the scenario, yjh and hsy were set(?) to get married since (I think) it was a historical European styled scenario so basically a setting like those reincarnated villainesses manhwas.
