Basically this is a slow burn. They hang out with each other, start to bond and grow feelings for each other, but neither admits or acknowledges. It’s all unspoken and there’s tension. Mostly see from uke’s side but these two have a connection. Life gets in the way, uke is poor. Without going into all the ups and downs of life and side relationships (friends, etc). Seme basically is going abroad, uke finds out and is upset. Uke loses scholarship but seme pays (don’t quote me on this, I might have mixed this up with another story lol) before seme takes off abroad. Also before seme takes off, they meet in the piano room (it’s become a special place), have a heated argument/discussion about seme leaving, the seme asks if uke wants to have sex. They do. Then seme leaves abroad. Neither have professed their feelings. Years pass, uke works at a hotel that seme owns/manages (seme didn’t pursue piano professionally). Uke is emotional from unexpected reunion. Asks to get relocated to Jeju (southern island far from where he is now) and seme ends up approving transfer request. When they reunite at the hotel, both use formal polite language, indicating distance in their relationship. Whereas when they were in uni together, they used casual familiar language, indicating their close and comfortable relationship. I can’t read this until it’s done. The unspoken draw to each other and their situation. I dunno if this will be happy or not, so I’m gonna wait.
