I'm sorry but I was confused the whole time. Ikeda and the main guy from the other story ressembles too much, I had troubles understanding the first chapter. Took me 3 times to understand. I'm guilty to have forgotten that it was a side story as I was reading it too but it should be readable even without knowing that and the others characters.

But the pacing and ... I don't know. It was weird. I had that with the other one sometimes but not that hard.

Still loved it, but opposed to a lot of this one's readers I loved the first one more. I found it lovlier, better art, better characters, fun and interesting story.

This one left me disappointed. :(

Also, i suppose it's lost in translation and adaptation of the novel, but i didn't really felt them sliding towards that "chummy era". :/ It's like now it's all normal that Chase is sweet towards him suddendly, and that it's obvious they're gonna have sex. (Not that i'm commplaining of course)

All that heavy short angst for that short arc, it seems quite unabalenced to me. I've loved it up until that point and I'm really not against discovering the wounds and hidden anxieties the characters carries, but it seemed "out of thin air" (not quite but...) and short and long in the same time. Too heavy and angsty for that weird resolution on the pillow... :/ that's the only part that got me disappointed at the story, that's too bad.

I'm also not sure if it's a real end or not ? :o

I really love it so far ! Love the art, the dense MC that makes me cringe but I find it lovely, and the ML who slowly will come to love it. It's cute and funny ! And the smut will probably be epic ! :p

I'm not usually that disgusted by that trope (not discussing about the problematic that it represents here, it's an obvious one and i don't like it but that's usually not stopping me if the writing is -appart from that- somewhat good) but it ISN'T even adding something to the story or the character, it's just free. The lines are blurry but just as a lack of writing for... what ? plot ? lmao. I can't get to chapter 3, and i usually read it all because i've got the "i cant let it unfinished" syndrome when i'm reading BL/yaoi specifically, even when they're bad... But here, i really don't see the appeal. Beside the glasses kink that is new to me.
