For people thinking it's an amnesia arc, come on guys. Juheon has always been like this. He creates walls around himself to protect himself in the best of his ability. He's literally on his wits end, he's just too good of an actor and he's been like this since chap 1. Dohu knows that as well. He's just thinking that the tells are a bit different then before. Juheon clearly remembers Dohu. And if y'all need proof, then just see that Juheon flinched when Dohu said to the manager that people say he has a small appetite. Dohu NEVER had a small appetite before the time skip and Juheon knows that hence the slight flinch. Ofcourse he remembers. He's just trynna cope and I'm pretty sure he'll breakdown soon enough. (ANGST ANGST ANGST ANGST)

Yup. He's dying. He's dying FOR SURE. and he'll kill Gongeum (whatever his name) or the dad in the process while protecting Baekhee. He'll die thinking that Atleast one person will mourn him. And he'll die thinking he died for the one he loves. Ofcourse. I can see it. Yup. Yup. Yeh.

So I'm new to Backlight (as in I JUST read it) so Idk if this IS a controversial opinion or if other people here share the same thought as me, but I REALLY wish to see more of Jaewon from Jaewon's POV. Just his story. I don't want a love story but just what was going on through his mind the whole time for him to pull shit like this. I don't know what to feel for him as a character. I definitely don't want his actions to be justified in any sense but I still understand him to a certain limit (I can't help it ok. It's all there) and I want to see more of him. As much as I hate him, there was clearly a lot going on with him. Dude has a lot of potential to be the kind of 'character you hate to end up understanding and feeling empathy for despite them being grade A assholes and irredeemable piece of shits.'
