honestly i think this is a conversation that needs to be had separating reality and fiction. a lot of people have noncon kinks (KINKS) that they can enjoy in fiction such as manhwa where it doesn’t hurt a single person irl. and the popularity of these manhwas proves that lot of people do enjoy it - and one of the benefits of enjoying kinks in manhwa is that people who don’t have the kinks don’t have to read the manhwa. it’s not ‘normalized’ in the sense that people who read these manhwa suddenly think it’s okay to rape people now, but it’s a common trope clearly because enough people enjoy it as a kink/theme/trope or whatever in FICTION.
