Okay this efff me, I expected it because I saw the spoilers. I knew this manga was so messed up, I’m sad it had to tragically end this way.
But I don’t think the author is a bad writer, she actually had written the stages of abusive relationship - the little details of how it all escalated was traumatizing. I’m sad that we didn’t get an ending where Wu-yeon is healing.
Instead Jae-ha was still manipulating everything, including the most trusted person in the life of Wu-yeon, the director. I think when he found out the truth it made it felt like he can never escape.
I feel so bad for Wu-yeon, he is an orphaned struggling in life only wanting to survive the way he knew how and these two brothers destroyed his life. This kid was lonely but he was trying his best and it had to be messed up.
I’m crying, he deserves better he was supposed to heal and be fine on his own. This author might lean more on a pessimist view to put this ending huhuhuhu
