One thing I'm really grateful to the manga for so far even though it skips a lot of content is the existence of Mukoda's spine. He loses his temper, scolds his familiars and gets them to listen to him properly. Additionally, both he and his familiars treat each other like family. Sometimes when I read the novel, I feel like his familiars are truly... well, it fells like they don't care for him much beyond his food and can't understand that because he's weak, he worries a lot and doesn't enjoy dungeon diving, only endures it because money + food + his familiar's enjoyment. Towards the more recent updates, he doesn't even need to care for the money aspect anymore. Feru and Dora don't really show much sympathy for him, especially Feru, even if he does allow Mukoda a lot of liberties he would never allow any other human. I much prefer the portrayal of our gluttonous trio and Mukoda in the manga compared to the novel, even if I'm getting way more content from the novel. It has improved on Mukoda's side though.

TL;DR: Feru and co. are a lot nicer in manga + Mukoda doesn't act like as much of a doormat. Love that
