But I hate that the ML is being left to be developed so late, at this point in attached to everyone but him, it's not about she not ending up with the one I like and more like she'll end up with the only one I dislike

It's not late the story is pretty long there is almost 300 chapters of the novel and the manhua is only at the beginning of the season 2 when I read it the ending didn't felt rushed
Melissa is so smart to the point she acts a little dumb at times, it's like she forgets that she's the only one that is fully aware it's a novel and what's going to happen, and the consequences of not doing something. The risks may look small to her and the solutions obvious but it's not the same for the character on the story.
