For me their feeling is mutual, we just see Hayden feeling for Brett more clear because we follow his pov, Brett’s feeling seem tricky to see but if you focus on how he act and the way he care for Hayden, you can see that Brett is also have feeling with Hayden, and his feelings for Hayden also develop overtime, some people may say Brett not seem to have feeling yet because he seem to carefree compared to Hayden who is overthinking, that depends on how other see love and romance, for me, Brett’s feeling for Hayden is good enough and sure he’s feeling is keep growing even more in ss2. There only 5 chapter to get to the end of ss1. We can only tell how their relationship development in ss2….
