For them both to be happy without holding back I think a break (till hina have bit of brains) is needed, nanase choice was the right thing!
if he accepted it right away, he would be so doubtful late on, this way hina will try to prove it to him which will later on turn into his strength and he'll believe in their love.

the sex scenes could have used more work though... they weren't as hot as how the seme described his fantasy xD but I still liked them
