First of, I AGREE they need therapy, the "love" they both feel is misplaced and stems from trauma. The age gap is problematic and there's power dynamics that further imbalance the relationship...
Still, yet, however, in spite of , because of... I love how messy this is. My heart is in constant angst. Like other users have mentioned I wish Yun-oh (top) left and made Haewon (bottom) really analyze what he wants from the relationship. I want more autonomy and self discovery from Yun-oh. I want more self-reflection from Haewon....
but ngl I love toxic/dysfunctional relationships, particularly slightly possessive/jealous lovers. And I love when the jealous partner doesn't realize he's jealous. I like that the plot is more complicated than the usual "simple misunderstanding," and am genuinely wanting to see how it evolves. And I want more interaction with Yun-oh's friends; I like that bunch. Most of the side characters feel fleshed out, and I appreciate it. The back story is decent and original enough. I also love how unsettling it is when Haewon is drawn to look upset/angry/possessive in the way villains are drawn. That may be a hot take.

Ngl, the main plot is quite good if not goofy. I love how the Ms. Seo's son keeps meddling. The B plot feels so out of left field but is funny as hell. Did not imagine we would get a pimp!! I'm glad she's disliked by our MC, but I can already tell he's gonna have sex w her too, eventually. I would like this better if it was only the main plot with Ms. Seo but I'll take what I get. Good goon material.

I'm loooooving this story... but....the POV from the friend Malcom on the interaction between Andrew and Luke was so creepy and scary (in a sexy yandere way). Andrew seems to have some sort of social ineptitudes (maybe like autism with some artistic liberties, or just a yandere trope) but seems to mask them very well when he knows he's being watched. His possessiveness is very yandere, and I'm anxiously waiting to see how the author ups the ante.
I too have a bad feeling that Andrew is gonna do a looot more to keep Luke by his side. Not in a "irredeemable evil Andrew" sort of way, but I imagine him hurting or even killing to keep Luke safe.
I can see a plot line where Derek tries to very cruelly get revenge on both Luke and Andrew (it's canon he is a pos) since we don't know what he's up to rn. Can also the story ending after Andrew hurts/kills Derek, repeating and ultimately reliving his own traumatic past with his stalker and him holding a gun--in a way that's confirming all the bad shit that has been speculated about him by the public. But also Luke staying by his side because he's conscious of the complexities and is too deep in his relationship to back out.
As a sort of "evidence" for my theory with Derek: following Derek leaving the group (start of s2), some of the scenes between Luke and Andrew being cuddly are super zoomed out like if they were being spyed on, which makes me think these are hints at Derek working to get his revenge on them by "tarnishing" their reputation bc homophobia. The only example I can think of of this is when they're buying art supplies and they kiss inside the shop, and it's seen from far away, from outside the shop, etc. But also the fact that Bruno is still texting him and kissing his ass... like cmon, if Malcom noticed, Derek's henchman will notice too.
Anyway, I'd be cool if I'm right so that's why I'm writing it down lol.

I've read up till halfway thru ch 41, where they kiss and Doyoon is avoiding Gyeol. And i just feel like it's so one sided and Doyoon is so vulnerable because nobody else knows it's him. And then we have Gyeol who is sooo dependent on Doyoon to the point that he's obsessed. It feels icky and honestly boring. I'm sure it'll progress to Doyoon reciprocating but it just doesn't feel satisfying.
Nah nah nah, we all knew that one way or another, we were getting chapters of their past lives a la Dawn of the Dragon.
I have mixed feelings about it but I'm excited that the quest will be Yeon coming to terms with/accepting what his past self did to Kihoon. I hope we get flashes of multiple past selfs, like other generations. Do they all die young???
