It depends on the author. We never got much info from Fargo. For some omegaverses, bonding is "the overturning of the soul/soulmate" (Abarenbo Honey) or a "fated partner" (Kurui naku no wa boku no ban). Basically, the connection between two people is stronger than any other bond. In all cases, it makes the omega unable to sleep with other people. In most cases, the bonding is completed through marking/biting the nape of the omega, and in some cases, this marking is permanent as long as the omega accepts it. Sometimes the mark disappears in time (Romantic Joutou).
Yeah it really depends on the autor in the Pendulum we can see two soul bonds ( alfa - omega) that dont love eachother necessary.. it really depends which turn autor will take but as far as we know and as much omegaverse I read, bonding is strong connection between alfa and omega in which omega can only sleep with certain alfa. Now we have a lot of different bonds, only normal bonding and soul bonding. Now it depends again on the autor which kind of "bonding" will pick for the storyline. But soul bonding is the strongest connection between alfa and omega which makes alfa only pick that omega and omega pick that alfa like they are made for eachother, soul bonding is so strong that pair doesnt need to bite to make that connection viable

No problem! I think that alphas can continue to be affected by other omegas' pheromones, but they won't react so strongly if the alphas have bonded with an omega. (Like in Tadaima, Okaeri, or Pendulum.) In Romantic Joutou, the alpha dreams of having his own baseball team, so he had a harem of omega lovers and he could mark all of them. There's another (ongoing, I can't remember the name) in which the wrong alpha bonds with the omega, and so he's super affected by his destined partner, another omega who's just been introduced. Of course it's a drama, because there are crossed pairs, I just wish I could remember the name.
