Man, I rlly wanna love this story sm but I just can't.. the fact that the author is making this lean more in comedy- like no I don't mind romcom BUT if it's a serious matter(the destroying the forest, the poor trees and him locking her up ) its rlly annoying that the fl is just "Oh so he picked red cuz it was my fav color! " Like girl.. I'm only at chapter 15, but I alrdy know every sht that the ml is doing will be swept under the rag cuz "he loves her". Don't give me that bs, how about give the fl some common sense.. and the fl changes emotions so much, one moment she's sad, and suddenly it's all funny and dandy cuz yk, he colored ur prison red cuz u told him u like the color! And like his just waiting for her.. that's IT. Despite everything, the fl has no strive for revenge. So if ur here for the revenge, this is not the story at all.. everything will just be brushed off, and gets handed to the fl easily..

I rlly like this type of story.. well on the surface level sure. It's a nice story, where the bullied will come up and take revenge later on. But yk what sucks? At the end fo the day, the REAL owner of the mc's body rn is still dead.it rlly sucks that ones u realize the only reason the mc survived(even tho the OGbody did not), is cuz they r either act all cute to their abusers, OR they r smart. And for this story, it falls in the latter. I still can't comprehend the fact that this sweet sweet innocent child is dead cuz nobody in that goddamn house cared for her, except for the maid.
But hey, the mc is useful. She's smart, so ofc she's gonna attract someone's attention and "saves" her. For me, that's rlly shtty... Again, at the end of the day, Jeffrey still let the OGchild die. Nobody helped her. All I'm understanding is, if u aren't using your cuteness or genius brain, nobody will pay attention to you. After all, your just an ordinary who the gods hated. Not only did u lived such a horrible life, the gods in that world decided to let someone else reside in ur own body. Got disrespected TWICE.
This is the thing that these authors who uses this trope always miss. This is why I always enjoy it if the mc goes to someone who never met the OGchild in the first life.. cuz yk damn well if they met, the OGchild will be saved. Now that's GENUINE. This also applies to mls, imo I rlly hate it when the mc chooses the guy that's supposedly Inlove with another woman, aka the heroine of the story. I always eat up those stories with authors that care for good writing and not solely for money. This manhwa on the other hand.. I don't think it's hard to write a character that genuinely cares for the mc, and the mc doesn't have to be "special" to be accepted.

I even mentioned inability comment how annoying it is that the grandpa is all doting because she showed potential or whatever...but everything you said about how sad and unfair for the og body owners in this trope I agree with... I actually struggle to find similar tropes that don't miss this point or at least address it...like a fl who's aware that these ppl would've let her die if she was deemed "worthless".

LOL sorry ik I don't make sense, but the mc does realize the OGbaby def died of starvation and neglect, and she(mc) only survived cuz she went(literally crawled her way out, and plus she has magic) to find food. But that manhwa also sucks cuz at the end, the mc is like "boohoo, ik I sympathize with this body's original owner and knew what happened to her, but I came to love y'all!! Grandpa, uncle, ik u killed this baby by neglecting her, hence she died of starvation, but you guys are so nice to me!!!".... Disclaimer, she never said that obv, but she legit forgave them. I get the appeal that makes authors and readers ignore this...because this type of story is a common fantasy for a lot...to go back in time...to be a gifted and loved child everone is in awe of...but once the thrill of the cliche yet satisfying scenes of adults acknowledging the main character...they should dive deeper beyond the meaning of this fantasy and present what makes a child...or anyone really..worth of love and respect and not just introduce more characters to dote/fall in love/obssess with the mc untill the inevitable happy ending

Chapter 9(silca and nelt) is my LEAST fav couple EVER. Idk why but nelt's reasoning "I can't live without u or else I won't have any maid anymore taking care of me!" sounds like it ain't love my guy. Ik it's suppose to be a cute romance of a nagging childhood friend and lazy ass guy but bruh imo I hate this type of trope. It's like they only realize they "love" the girl cuz their lazy ass cant do sht without her. It's so shallow imo LOL anyways, I hate that. And also the couple where the girl was engaged to his brother, and so he becomes a playboy ugh I just hate that trope so much too.

Maybe the reason why I'm so triggered is cuz I've met a lot of friends like this.. and they choose to be stuck in this uncomfortable situation, instead of taking their own advice. On the other hand, the ml's situation doesn't make me suffocate, but more so emotional?? Like it was so done well, his character is consistent. He's a coward through and through, no bs "I'll give u advice, but I won't listen to these advices myself!".
She’s not honest with herself hence her inconsistency with her decisions and was blinded by selfishness and wanting to feel special. It’s much more realistic and makes her more human than just a girl being good at loving and communicating etc then it would just be similar to any other manhwa. I kinda agree that what she does is super frustrating. Its like watching your friends make the shittiest decisions ever and that thought has never occurred to me while reading other manhwas lol (thats why its so good) but i bet she’d have the best character development
True, the author def knows how to annoy their readers who had friends like her LOL but nonetheless, I still feel super annoyed that she's not actually naive/clueless or anything, she KNOWS what's happening but she still chooses to take these dumb decisions. I would've been more okay-ish knowing she's just a dumb+naive girl who had her first ever relationship just end like that.. I would've been more empathic, but the way she comes off is someone who has experience and understanding, thus giving the ml all of the advice. And I think she knows it herself, cuz in one chapter it showed a scene where she told the ml to never be friends with his ex, and then it immediately cuts to her literally agreeing to become friends with her ex.. she's so desperate, and that just shows she actually has low respect for herself. I literally don't get ittt.. well, thankfully I don't, cuz u can't catch me disrespecting myself like this The fl would've def been one of those girls who catches their bf cheating, and they still take them back. And ik in one chapter she says "I wouldn't be like this if he cheated", but can we rlly believe her??? I mean, all of her advices just fly out of the window if she's actually talking to her ex. So she will def still take him back lol maybe be a little mad and then break up with him, but then wishes for him to chase after her and beg for forgiveness. Sigh, having friends like her irl is actually so draining.. after I've learned my lesson that these ppl love yapping about advices, but actually don't take those advices for themselves, I lost it. Fr tho…when she dumped her ex i assumed it was bc of cheating/abuse/manipulation but the reason was milder than i thought. I dont wanna invalidate the reason why she dumped him, its just her actions were too extreme (not defending, him he pisses me off). Her jumping into the relationship knowing he doesnt have the capacity to love as much as her kiiiinda pmo. Ig thats why its called selfish romance in the way that you want to have someone just bc you want to have them i.e yoomin taking advantage of her ex’s dad and hyeondo’s ex. I kinda doubt that she’ll take him back since i have faith in them realizing their feelings first but i do think she’ll forgive (and forget…)

And yeah, I've basically cut ties with my friends before who did this sh, but nowadays if I meet a new person and becomes friends with them and they r clearly the type who doesn't respect themselves, I just.. don't think about it lol it's cruel, but first I ask if they just want someone to listen to them or actually give my opinion/advice. It's always the former, but if it's the latter, they don't take my advice anyways. So I just accept it as them wanting to live like this, forever suffering. But I've realized.. I never actually think of them as someone who I'm close with. Like no way a friend who ur close with won't help you out if ur in situations like this.
All in all, this manhwa is def written realistic. But I better wait for this to be completed if I wanna keep all of my hair lol
