But what's the deal with like nepthys and I've also been confused on what they're doing like why are they trying to find the temples of the moon/wisdom God? Sorry I just haven't had time to re-read and catch up with everything but I'd appreciate if you can briefly explain !!

So the thing with Nepthys is, that the one in the real worl, the one we see in the story, is fake Nepthys. She was created when real Nepthys got traped inside a mirror. Only Horus and probably Sekhmet knows about it.
They want to find Thot's temple because of two reasons. The first one is that FG had some contract with Isis, that if he showed up at the tournament to help Horus in case he would have lost, he could go to the Temple of the Moon and get his future told, by Thot. The second one is, that when Seth found out that FG is heading to the temple, he decided to go with him, so he could ask some questions about, for instance, Seths curse on his hand and what happened to Anubis.
