Omegaverse will create the drama necessary for emotional upheavals. So yes, if there wasn't omegaverse then the novel would have ended at like 300 chapters lmao-- it is a necessary plot device.

Honestly, the first kiss was in ch200 and the s*x was in ch450. It's a slow burn, but the manhwa is picking up the pace so hopefully we'll see those earlier. Almost everyone did think so at first that the Omegaverse was unnecessary until it was involved (and was the main reason) for a lot of main plots. The era it's set in isn't the modern era, so you can imagine how unkind and cruel people can be.
