But it is a very nice, rather mellow love story of two child hood friends who became lovers. It's short chapters showing bits and pieces of their adult lives together, glimpses into random days or events. It shows either Takuya or Hiroshi's views, or both, and how they love each other in both big and small ways. Kinda nice.
Megumu has just gotten back together with Kei. Kei was being all jealous and possessive, saying things like, "I would be at ease if I could have you all for myself" even though he had no right, because he himself was a heartless cheating shithead. So, one day Kei comes home to find Megumu snuggling in bed with Shiba, who had been madly in love with Megumu all along. "Sorry Kei, I realized I really couldn't forgive you, especially since your last fling tried to kill me and you chased after him and left Shiba to take care of me. That was some fucked up shit. So I came to my senses after realizing that it was Shiba who has been there for me all along. We're leaving now to go to the Bahamas for our honeymoon. Sayonara forever." The End.
I loved the other stories though. Even though they had cheaters involved, the ukes moved on and found better.
I thought I was the only one who felt that way. Everybody else is singing praises about love and fluffiness, and I agree it is there, but the sex outside of a relationship was a dark shadow in the story for me. Haters can hate me. I think that if they were going to be apart for six years, and Mii-kun wanted to fuck around with other people because it's a "physical need," then they shouldn't say that they are in a relationship and just call it friends until they can be together for real. Kei-chan didn't sleep around, or at least there was no indication of it. He's a man too, with physical needs, so why was HE faithful for six years? Is it only gay men? I don't think so. Kei-chan should fuck a couple guys and see how Mii-kun feels about it. Okay, that last part was just the vengeful me coming out. Another thing that bothers me is when Mii-kuns friends put Kei-chan down - "he's plain, he's boring, I don't get what you see in him," that kind of shit. I've seen it in other manga and it pisses me off.
i agree. they should have stated exactly what their relationship was before the separated for the 6 years, defining it, and letting each other know if it was ok to see other people. mi-kun must not have been that much in love, cos if he loved him as much as he always said he did, then he would've kept it in his pants.kei-chan deserves better...but hey, damn mangas always gotta hae conflict. why can't the stories be as fluffy as katekyo? :)
I totally agree with you .I mean there is something called far distance love, and even if he wouldn't move to Tokyo it doesn't mean you cant be a couple.and even more than this;far distance love isn't an excuse for cheating. And if Mii-kun couldn't bring the topic "hey can we have an open relationship"then he just had to endure till the moment they can make sex together. And if he wasn't sure about Kei-chan's feelings to him,he could just talk to him even if it's hard to him to ask something like that .I know it was hard for him to ask him to come to Tokyo, cause yes, communication with the one you love cant be always an easy thing, but fucking with someone else and after that trying to ask the one you love to move to your place is an ugly thing to do.
I don't know what i would've done in this situation, but one thing I do know-got sent an angel to Mii-kun .Not everyone can be as undernstanding as Kei -chan.For example-I cant.
and if it's the case ,then maybe he wasn't going to ask him to move to Tokyo but going to break up with him.And maybe none one of them paid too much attention to this cheating cause for them it wasn't a cheating.I mean one of them wasn't sure about his own feeling, and the other one was sure his love is one side love

This mangaka's stories are usually pretty intense and dramatic, but tend to have A LOT of sleeping around, and treats cheating very lightly. I can't even think of a character in her stories that IS faithful. For certain I've never seen any of her characters just say "Fuck this shit, you all suck, I don't need this B.S. Gonna go find me a hot, faithful guy. Wish me luck because I'm going to need it - after all, I'm a character in a manga written by Sadahiro Mika." They usually put up with it until the so-called happy ending. So, just beware if loose guys aren't your thang.
