Feels a little empty. Like there's a good story there, but needs to be beefed up. I can't put my finger on it.
I think so too... but I think it is because the ending was too ambiguous. Maybe I am just used to the happy "yaoi" endings but, this just feels unfinished.

I would feel more sorry for him, but after declaring he likes the uke, he so easily changes to Okuzono. If he truly had liked Yamashiro, he wouldn't have changed his mind like that. Same with the girlfriend. I just can't bring myself to feel any pity for people like that.
Agree. I would have felt sorry for him if his feelings for Yamashiro were genuine.
I made an error in my original post - I meant to say "Poor Murata." I felt more pity than sorry, because Yamashiro openly used him, and then Okuzono purposely stole him away, without having feelings for him. Even if Murata was fickle, and easily went from liking Yamashiro to liking Okuzono, he was just a pawn in the middle being played by both. Neither one had true feelings for him to begin with, and that in itself is pretty sad. The girlfriend I didn't feel bad for at all. Yamashiro didn't date her to "use" her - he probably liked her to begin with, but she was an easy steal for Okuzono. No pity there at all.
Really, even though they played it off like Shuuichi and Kazuyoshi are a lovey couple, didn't Kazuyoshi come on to Tsukasa with the intent to have sex (while Shuuichi was on business trip)? I think Shuuichi needs to re-think his relationship with Kazuyoshi.
Makes me wonder if kazuyoshi will be like this if he got tgt w ritsuro instead of shuuichi. Even in the sequel of Boku wa Konomama Kaeranai called Shite kazuyoshi is all over the place even when he was tgt w shuuichi. Yes I get tt shuuichi at that time hasn't divorce yet but to be fair shuuichi wasn't 'cheating' in both marriage or on kazuyoshi. There was some complex issue w the marriage which I cnt explain in a few sentences but kazuyoshi on the other hand is wavering here and there, kissing a guy who likes him and couldn't bear to let him go even tho he ald has shuuichi and cheated on shuuichi w a fling. Srsly kazu was rly all over the place even tho he always says "Shuuichi is the only one he wants" but errr idk.. actions n words don't tally at all

but too bad Ryou did a little cheating behind Yajima's back and slept with the old "contract" guy one last time (as a thank you, I think), especially since it was that guy who was killing the boys and wanted to kill Ryou as well. Thats the only part I didn't like.
