Nah, in theory, changing something in the past affects everything else exponentially. By changing Amemori-san as an infant, it changed every interaction he had in his life - different people, different events, etc., That little girl might not even exist in this new version. Following this theory, Yui's life should have been different as well. Time-changing story lines are complicated.
It did affect Yui's life, but only from the time he had initially met Amemori-san. Thus why he is re-living that entire time. Which I like that they are doing that, instead of dumping Yui into the same time he left at with no knowledge of how different his life was during the three months that he remembers being with Amemori, but now wasn't.
Oh boy. I was hoping for cute, sexy, and maybe a little sweet and fluffy. What we have is dorm sex slutty uke (room mate) and semes, and now making bets on what seems to be a decent hard working kid. I'm thinking they're going to be doing whatever they can to push the new guy's buttons. I'm rooting for the new guy, and shipping him with the dorm manager. Secretly hoping the slutty room mate will fall for the new guy, but fail miserably. Maybe it's the mean person in me because I don't like the way the uke "smirked" at him.
The only redeeming quality I've seen so far is the art. No love, no flirting, no sexiness, just a rich asshole using every dirty trick in the book to try and make the pretty guy bend to his will. Blackmail and repeated rape, which is supposed to make him ultimately submit, become his pet, conditioned to melt at his touch. And we don't even have a reason yet. I have no feelings for any of the characters except for anger, and we're already 7 chapters in.

Trooping outside late at night, in the snow, to find the bathroom? I would have stood in the doorway and used my tool to draw some steaming yellow lines in the snow.
