I'd just see it As both girls have had it bad. But in the end one girl used all her knowledge & power to get where she is. While the other used someone's compassion & used it for their own gain. Now there's a psychotic prince in control & he don't Care for anyone at all.
You're forgetting that we don't know anything about Psyche's past. What we do know is that she was most probably locked up all her life and the one who got her out was the prince, who, then, manipulated her. Yes she made an horrible choice, but did she actually have a choice? The prince clearly threatened her with the room when she got mad at him. I will wait for more informations on her past before deciding whether she's shit or not.
