I wouldn’t compare his trauma to anyone else or compare anyone trauma to someone else’s trauma. Even though for us it might be unreasonable for them to act like that or even if the the reason for their trauma doesn’t seem bad enough for them to turn out like this, the brain responds differently for everyone. Depression when you’ve only heard about it seem ironic yet it could lead to someone’s death. Someone might’ve seen a dog die in front of them yet it won’t effect them that much, another person might’ve seen a butterfly die and they might end up traumatized for the rest of their lives to the point where they can’t look at a bug without fainting. The reason for a person to become traumatized might be dumb or just not bad enough for them to be this way but the way it effects each person is different.
