this was so promising but the ending..?? It feels so unfinished and sloppy T.T
I read a comment a few months back about how the ending feels unsatisfactory when the commentor was younger but upon rereading, it made so much sense to the story, I truly agree and had the same experience. I thought it was bittersweet and I didn’t like how it felt unfinished but upon rereading after a few years, it felt very realistic and much happier than I remembered. It made perfect sense with the story the author wanted to tell and I enjoyed the fact that they had room to grow.
The way this oi makes you sympathize with the characters in unmatched tbh. I want to give marcus a hug while simultaneously understanding how edgar is feeling. This story is a gem.
Also i appreciate how this oi incorporates aspects of discrimination realistic for the era they're living in.
Also Also, i loove how the fl is from a place resembling greece, its such a rare aesthetic to find in an oi!! so refreshing.
I cant wait to see who Lilliana will confide her secret with, and i wonder when she will find out about marcus and fraçois having retained memories of the past (presumably thanks to Andrea).
BTW Andrea needs to step tf up (︶︿︶)
dropped on 3, this was super hyped up so i was excited and what i get is... rape on a drunk guy?? fir fucks sake.
I was confused about your comment because i didn't remembered any rape, so i went back (cause i read it in all in one go and was scared that i missed it), and yeah there wasn't any rape, namwoo only remembered some pieces like pining sieon with money around so his imagination went a bit wild, what really happened was sieon did took his clothes of but only so he wouldn't sleep in them, but right then namwoo sober up a bit and seeing himself without clothes(only wearing underwear) and money around he assumed he was payed to have sex, so when sieon said no, namwoo started crying because he thought he just hit rock bottom that's why he "sold" himself so sieon hug him and that's all what happened. Hope that help clarify.
Everyone is allowed to jave their preference yes and the ambiguous sex in the beginning (especially since Namwoo is drunk) threw me off. Strangers having sex while drunk is often...ehh..
Not condoned ofc but the least problematic story out here. I give it a super sturdy solid 9/10 just because of the beginning being iffy for me personally but this comic (specifically yaoi genre in particular) is one of my highest ratings
Please give it a chance! The art is awesome of course. The story telling is what gets me excited lol half joke..
The depth of the characters and the character flaws are not hodden. You can see their growth and how they jave changed, better or worse, and the Ml and mc walk on eggshells for an awkward start. So seeing them communicate while misunderstanding eachother, to fighting, growing apart and then making up, treading out of the deep waters and finally understanding what the word love actually means
Pure Cinema:tm:
An art style I'll never forget. Really hope author has another work for us
It portrays such a realistic relationship built on materialistic items/sex exchange without love, misunderstanding, and final resolution ugh love itttt
I NEED TO ADD! THEY MAKE IT SOUND LIKE SIEON IS FOURTY LMAOOO
Bro is mid to late 30s at beast and Namwoo is what. 23-25? So yeah a 7 or 10+ age gap between adults in a comic aint the worst
I thought I was simping for a silver fox, he aint that old they always joking him with "how scandalous of you to go after a young unsuspecting person, tsk tsk!" Lmao
Their arguments forgot to add that part. Their disagreements are so important.a lot of media portrays arguments as bad with lot's of yelling.
I loved their fights because they felt real and they freking apologize after even when they dont completely understand the other person its so good
I gotta log tf off

tbh i enjoyed reading this when it had like 90 chapters but ive come back and.. wtf do you. mean its still not done yet i hate when stories are dragged out
